IIBF conducts the JAIIB exam twice a year in May and November. Eligible banking professionals and new entrants to the banking sector should make the most of these opportunities and apply online as soon as the respective registration windows open.
This guide covers the complete registration process for both the JAIIB May 2026 and JAIIB November 2026 exam cycles, along with subject-wise exam dates officially published on the IIBF portal.

How to Register for JAIIB 2026 on the IIBF Website
The registration process has two major stages for first-time applicants: first obtaining an IIBF Membership Number, then using it to register for the exam. Existing members can skip straight to exam registration.
JAIIB Registration Step 1: Opening the IIBF Site
- Navigate to IIBF: Begin by searching for "IIBF" on Google. Click on the first link, which should take you to www.iibf.org.in, the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
JAIIB Registration Step 2: Starting Your Application
- Apply Now: On the homepage, look for and click on the "apply now" button. You will see three options:
Membership — for first-time applicants who need an IIBF membership number
Exam for Members — for existing IIBF members (bankers) registering for JAIIB
Exam for Non-Members — for non-bankers registering for DBF
The choice here depends on whether you're applying for the first time or re-applying.

JAIIB Membership Registration
Filling the Membership Form
First-time applicants (mostly bankers) need to obtain an IIBF Membership Number before applying for the JAIIB exam.

Click on "Apply Now" > "Membership" > "Ordinary Member Registration"

Fill in the following details:
- Basic Details: First name, middle name, last name, full name
- Contact Address: Office or residential communication address
- Permanent Address: Fill separately or tick if same as communication address
- Date of Birth, Gender, Qualification (UG/Graduate/Postgraduate)
- Bank/Institution Name: Select your employer from the dropdown
- Branch/Office Name: Max 20 characters
- Designation: Choose from the dropdown
- Bank Employee ID
- Date of Joining
- Personal Email ID (use personal email, not official)
- Personal Mobile Number (not office contact)
- Aadhaar Card Number
Tips: Use your personal contact details to ensure uninterrupted communication with IIBF, even if you switch jobs.
JAIIB Membership Registration Uploading Documents
Document Specifications

Ensure all documents are in the required format and file size limits:

ID Proof Options
If you do not have an Employer ID card, upload any one of the following:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Voter ID Card
- Driving Licence
Declaration Form
- Download and print the Declaration Form (available on the membership page)
- Fill in: Name, DOB, Bank Name, Employee ID
- Paste your photo, sign it, and get it signed & stamped by your Branch Manager or HOD
- Upload the scanned copy in JPG/JPEG format
Note: Ensure all uploads are clear, readable, and within size limits. Unclear images will lead to rejection.
Final Submission and Fee Payment
- Review all details and uploaded documents
- Tick the box to receive the IIBF Annual Report via email (optional)
- Submit the form
- Proceed to pay the membership fee
- Upon successful payment, you will receive your IIBF Membership Number via email/SMS
Note: This membership number (Registration Number) is essential to register for the JAIIB exam.
JAIIB 2026 Exam Registration (For Members (Banker))
Once you have the registration number:
- Go to Apply Now > Examination for Members
- Select JAIIB
- Enter your registration number and captcha
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Choose:
- Exam Medium (English / Hindi)
- Exam Centre
- Pay the exam fee
- Registration is now complete
Note: From 2025, IIBF no longer allows choosing venue or time slot. You will get your assigned centre & time in your admit card.
DBF Registration (For Non-Bankers)
If you're not employed in a bank but want to appear for Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF):
- Visit Apply Now > Examination for Non-Members
- Choose DBF, and click “If not registered, click here to register”
- Fill in personal details
- Upload:
- Passport-size photo
- Signature
- ID Proof
- (Declaration form not required for DBF candidates)
- Submit the form and pay the exam fee
- You will receive a registration number
- Use this number to return to the DBF exam page and complete registration as explained above
Reapplying for JAIIB (For Existing Members)
If you’ve appeared for the JAIIB exam before:
- You don’t need to register for membership again.
- Go directly to “Apply Now > Examination for Members”
- Select JAIIB, fill the form, pay the fee, and you’re done.

JAIIB Registration 2026 - Application Fee
For the JAIIB Registration 2025, candidates are required to clear the exam within a time frame of 3 years. If a candidate fails to pass the exam within this period, they will need to re-enroll as a fresh student without any credits from previous attempts. From the first application, a two-year window commences, during which attempts are counted whether or not an applicant appears for any examination.
The JAIIB registration fee varies depending on the number of attempts made by the candidates and the time of registration. Here is the registration fee structure for the JAIIB Exam based on the number of attempts:

Note: Late registration attracts an additional fee of ₹100 or ₹200 depending on the window. GST is applicable on all fees as per prevailing rates.
JAIIB 2026 Admit Card
The 'JAIIB 2026 Admit Card' is expected to be made available for download approximately a week prior to the examination date. Candidates can retrieve their hall tickets online via the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). The 'JAIIB 2026 Admit Card' is a mandatory document that candidates must carry to gain entry and be allowed to take the JAIIB Exam.
