For 2026, CAIIB consists of four compulsory papers—Advanced Bank Management (ABM), Bank Financial Management (BFM), Advanced Business & Financial Management (ABFM), and Banking Regulations & Business Laws (BRBL)—plus one elective selected by the candidate. This structure is confirmed in the official IIBF Rules & Syllabus 2026.
Why practise CAIIB previous year questions?
PYQs become especially valuable after a first reading of the syllabus. Before that stage, a low score may simply reflect unstudied chapters and give little useful feedback.

How to use CAIIB PYQs effectively
- Study the relevant chapter first. PYQs test application; they cannot replace concept learning.
- Attempt without notes. Use a timer and mark uncertain answers instead of checking solutions immediately.
- Classify every error. Record whether the cause was a concept gap, formula error, outdated rule, misreading or time pressure.
- Return to the exact syllabus topic. Repair the gap using current notes, video lessons or the official syllabus.
- Reattempt after 48 hours. A correct answer remembered from the solution is not the same as independent mastery.
- Finish with full-length mocks. PYQs build familiarity; mocks build the stamina and decision-making needed for the complete paper.

What is the CAIIB passing requirement?
The IIBF Rules & Syllabus 2026 states a minimum of 50 out of 100 in each subject. It also provides an aggregate route for candidates securing at least 45 in each subject and 50% aggregate across all subjects in a single attempt.
