Important Gap Between JAIIB Papers
The November 2026 schedule provides different preparation gaps between the four papers:
| From | To | Preparation gap |
|---|---|---|
| IE & IFS – 1 November | PPB – 22 November | 20 clear days |
| PPB – 22 November | AFM – 28 November | 5 clear days |
| AFM – 28 November | RBWM – 29 November | No clear preparation day |
The long gap before PPB can be used for revision and mock tests. However, AFM and RBWM are scheduled on consecutive days. Candidates should therefore complete the first round of preparation for both papers before the examination cycle begins.
JAIIB Exam Timing 2026
IIBF may allot candidates different examination batches or time slots. The exact timing and reporting instructions applicable to a candidate will be mentioned on the JAIIB admit letter.

How to Prepare According to the JAIIB Exam Dates
Candidates should plan backward from 1 November 2026 rather than preparing one paper at a time in examination order.
Before the First Examination
Complete at least one full round of all four papers. Give additional practice time to AFM numerical problems and important PPB concepts.
Between IE & IFS and PPB
Use the longer gap to revise PPB, attempt full-length mock tests and review incorrect answers. A portion of this period should also be reserved for AFM and RBWM revision.
Between PPB and AFM
Focus primarily on AFM formulas, numerical questions, accounting entries and full-length practice tests. Avoid beginning entirely new topics unless they carry substantial importance.
Between AFM and RBWM
Since the two papers are scheduled on consecutive days, keep RBWM revision notes ready in advance. After AFM, revise only high-yield concepts, important facts, formulas and previously marked questions.
